About Me

As a teacher and educator for over 7 years, I have always sought out children's books and the arts to make learning more engaging. My passion for educating has shifted to becoming the storyteller, the author. I have enjoyed this change in roles where I can now educate through my writing. My children's books range from board books and picture book to early chapter books. I create a wide range of lovable characters, problems and silliness throughout my books that capture readers of all ages.  

Having over 100 hours of children's book training/ courses, mentorship and self study, I am taking my knowledge of the craft to help aspiring children's book authors do the same.

I am a graduate from The Pennsylvania State University and received my masters from Towson University. 

I have received the Poynter ACES Certificate of Editing in 2024.
